At home or at the cottage
Kitchen islands, worktops, vanities and tables each have their own material, finish and use. Tell us about everyday preparation, spills, cleaning and the appearance you want to keep.
Start with your surface
Thinking about film for a stone countertop? Talk through the material, condition and how you use the surface before choosing a treatment.
We’re accepting surface assessment inquiries for homes and businesses. Product suitability and any proposed work are confirmed separately.

Film, sealing and stone restoration address different needs. Existing cracks, chips, scratches or etching should be assessed before a new surface treatment is considered.
Countertop film or sealer? Start with the problem
Kitchen islands, worktops, vanities and tables each have their own material, finish and use. Tell us about everyday preparation, spills, cleaning and the appearance you want to keep.

Reception counters and other commercial surfaces need a review suited to their traffic and cleaning routine. Share any food-contact requirements, existing treatments and access constraints.
Share the material if known, approximate dimensions, postal code and intended use. Mention damage, sealers or coatings. Photos are optional; we can discuss them after your inquiry.
A specialist reviews your surface and requirements. Any proposed product needs confirmation for the material and application before work can be agreed.
Ask about a sample, appearance, edges, seams, preparation and product-specific care. An inquiry requests an assessment; it does not book an installation.
The aim is a clear protective layer over a compatible existing surface, rather than changing its colour or pattern. Film does not repair cracks, chips, scratches or etching already in the stone. We assess the condition before recommending a product.
Tell us whether the surface is marble, quartzite, granite, engineered quartz or another material. Existing sealers, coatings, surface texture and damage all affect suitability. Kitchen islands, vanities, tables and reception counters need an individual assessment; a stone name alone does not establish compatibility.
A sealer and an applied film are different treatments. Film adds a surface layer; a sealer is selected for the stone and its porosity. Neither should be assumed to repair existing damage or make every stone immune to wear. We check existing treatments and the selected film’s instructions before recommending a combination.
Appearance depends on the selected film, finish, lighting and surface. Edges, joins or cutouts may be visible. Review a sample on your surface and agree the edge and seam plan before installation; we do not promise an invisible result.
Continue using trivets and cutting boards. Clean spills promptly and follow the selected product’s written care instructions. Do not assume heat, knife, chemical or food-contact suitability from the word “protective”; any specific rating must be confirmed for the exact product and application.
Removal depends on the exact film, adhesive, substrate, existing coatings and installation. The proposed product’s application and removal guidance needs to be reviewed for your surface before any work is agreed. Do not assume that every film can be removed without affecting the surface.
Surface area, shape, edges, sinks and other cutouts, existing condition, preparation and the selected film affect the work. Share approximate dimensions and your postal code. We confirm suitability and the proposed scope before quoting; no price is inferred from a photograph alone.
Share the material, approximate dimensions, surface condition and intended use. We’ll follow up about the assessment and your questions.
